The American Veterinary Medical History Society has been awarded a grant from the Donaldson Charitable Trust for prizes in honor of Elizabeth Atwood Lawrence Prizes for 2017, 2018, and 2019 in the Smithcors Student Veterinary History Essay Contest. This annual essay contest is open to any student enrolled in a D.V.M. program at veterinary colleges in the United States, Canada and West Indies.
