Dr. de Jong currently owns the Boston Mobile Veterinary Clinic and is former owner and Medical Director of Newton Animal Hospital. He served as President of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) in 2018-2019 and is currently President-Elect of the World Veterinary Association (WVA).
Margaret M. Brosnahan, DVM, PhD, DACVIM, CERP

Dr. Brosnahan is Associate Professor of Equine Medicine at Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Marianne Y. Ash, DVM, MVPH, DACVPM, FNAP
Past President
Dr. Ash recently retired as Director of the Division of Animal Programs of the Indiana State Board of Health. She is also Adjunct Professor at the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Susanne Whitaker is a retired veterinary medical librarian from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Diane A. Fagen

Ms. Fagen is presently archivist for Rockford University and is also employed by the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Library of the Health Sciences. She was librarian at the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) for many years until 2022 She is Distinguished Practitioner Fellow of the National Academies of Practice.
Shannon Greeley, DVM

Dr. Greeley is owner and medical director of Scottsdale Animal Clinic. She is past president of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) and active in many veterinary professional organizations.
Mary Beth Leininger, DVM
At-large Board Member
Dr. Leininger was co-owner of a veterinary practice in Plymouth, Michigan, with her spouse for more than 30 years. She left practice in 1999 to join Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Inc as the Director, Professional Affairs for 10 years. Continually active in professional organizations, Dr. Leininger was elected the AVMA's first woman president for 1996/1997.
G. Sierra Schneider, DVM, BSN, RN, CCRN

Dr. Schneider is an Ohio State University graduate with a focus on small animal medicine. Her special interest is feline medicine, internal medicine and behavior medicine. Dr. Schneider also has expertise in sepsis, severe sepsis and septic shock. She often volunteers at high-quality, high-volume spay & neuter (HQHV S/N) clinics.
